Preparations for the annual panto at the Harlequin are under way, with the announcement that the stars of this year’s show are to be magician Paul Daniels and his glamorous assistant (and wife), Debbie McGee

The panto this year will be Jack and the Beanstalk, and will run from December 10 to January 3.
Paul, who also wrote and featured in the 1980s children’s programme Wizbit, will be playing the role of King Crumble, and Debbie will taking over the magical duties as Fairy Organic.
