Borough’s cycling schoolchildren go from strength to strength

Latest results from the Borough’s Bike-It programme have revealed that a third of children at 18 participating schools within the Borough are now cycling regularly to school.

In some of the schools involved, until recently there were no school children cycling at all – further details of the highlights from individual school can be found in the latest newsletter here:  BikeIt-Newsletter-ReigateandBansteadSPRING-SUMMER-2010FINAL.

The Bike-It scheme is jointly funded by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and Sustrans, which is the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity.

For further information, or if you think a school in Redhill to which you are linked should be one of the next schools to join the scheme, please contact one of your councillors.
